Parents Don't Get Taught How To Revise

I was speaking to a few of our clients the other day,
And they were telling me how they feel frustrated.
It is difficult to know what their teenagers should be tangibly producing in a revision session.
It is difficult to hold them to account as they are not really sure how they are meant to be revising.
And therefore overall,
It is difficult to know how best to support their teenagers through their revision and exams.

I realised that practically all of the revision advice that parents encounter is second hand.
Either their teenagers are begrudgingly telling them what they got told in school in bits and pieces.
Or parents may see some top tips on Facebook.
Regardless,
Parents aren’t getting the full story.
And they certainly are not getting told a strategic and personalised story specifically for their teenager.

This is what I am going to do about it
I want to be completely transparent,
I do this newsletter for free and I plan to continue doing it, and doing it for free, for a long time.
Across 104 editions I have aimed to provide parents with strategic revision advice so that they can better support their teenagers to feel more confident and competent when it comes to their revision and exams.
And I’ll be honest,
I am proud of that.

And I believe many parents,
And by extension their teenagers,
